“ I used to visit Bari-Uma Ramen quite often when I was travelling frequently to Jakarta between 2015 and 2018. In Malaysia, however, I only tried the outlet recently - and after my first visit, I’ve already been back twice. I must say, I really enjoy the ramen here. The broth is rich, flavourful, and comforting, while the char siu is tender, well-prepared, and tasty. The ramen noodles are springy with a good bite, holding the broth well and making each mouthful satisfying. Compared to the Jakarta Citywalk outlet I used to visit, this Malaysian outlet is actually better in my opinion. And when compared to another well-known ramen shop nearby at Sunway 163 Mall, I still prefer Bari-Uma Ramen - the flavours suit my taste better and feel more consistent overall. ”

“ Beyond my expectations! The food tastes decent, with generous portions. If you love yasai (vegetables), the Shin Yasai Ramen is a great choice…packed with veggies. The Unagi Chao Fan is incredibly fragrant, and I love that nothing is too salty. The flavors are just right..comforting, like homemade food! The staffs are friendly and welcoming. Super helpful in explaining the dishes. Love it! Will definitely come back again ”

“ A small ramen shop in 1 Mont Kiara served very kaw shoyu pork bones soup ramen. Their excellent home made ramen is the right texture to my liking. I loved their tender flavourful grilled charsiu too. ”

“ Located on the 1st floor of 1MK mall is the Bari-Uma (super tasty!) Ramen shop. Cozy little restaurant, nicely maintained and clean. Patrons get an unobstructed view of the kitchen as the staff prepares the dishes. We ordered 2 bowls: the ajitama and noritama ramen. I preferred ramen with seaweed so took the noritama bowl. Prices were consistent with the other well established ramen restaurants. Both ramen tasted great! Flavorful thick broth with tender pork and soft juicy eggs. Very nice! We also ordered the ishiyaki salmon chaofan to go for my dinner later; that proved to surprisingly delicious despite being packed in a takeaway box for hours. Recommended. ”

The bari uma signature ramen tasted so good and it really surprised me, the cha siew melted right away, highly recommended this restaurant. The service here also very good! Kids meal is big portion and definitely worth it! ”

“ The broth/pork soup is delicious, flavourful and not too oily. It doesn't have the over powering porky taste which I like. Karaage chicken is yummy too. ”

“ Excuse the post-meal pics—sign of a good time! The chashu ramen hit all the right notes to crush my ramen cravings. The chashu itself? Thick, tender, and rich—absolutely perfect. The broth was thick, almost sauce-like. The chicken-based ramen was also solid. The chicken was flavorful, though the broth leaned a bit too salty for my taste. That said, the noodles had the perfect texture—springy and satisfying. I went for the set with gyoza and edamame, and it’s totally worth it. Overall, this spot deserves a try. Here’s hoping they make a few tweaks and stick around for the long haul! ”
